I am the proud owner ( 15 years) of a Cascade 29 named Fy Lanken ( Norwiegien for Bad Hands). The hull was laid up in 1963 and it was commissioned in 1965. It currently is on it's trailer undergoing a serious facelift. Repairing some glass in the glass over wood topsides, redoing scuppers, rebedding the cabins ports and repainting/refinishing the entire exterior and interior. My Cascade is unique in that she never had an inboard. The 9.9 Yamaha is housed in a motor well that replaced the lazarette. Another unique point the main cabin has 6 opening automobile sunroofs for ports. Makes it very light and airy. Pictures can be seen here http://cascadeowners.multiply.com/photos/album/10/SV_FyLanken
I sail with my wife primarily in the San Juan and Gulf Islands. We try to have 4 to 6 weeks each summer to be aboard her full time. I am blessed with a wife who enjoys being there. I hope to splash the boat prior to the Summer Sailstice. Info here http://www.summersailstice.com/
